A record of the mountains (and big hills) I've climbed. Some with pictures!
While in Lofoten recently, we decided to do the tourist thing and climb Reinebringen, hoping for a sunset
It's felt like it's been raining for so long that having a day of sunshine in Torridon was a massive surprise.
A reminder that mountain weather forecasts aren't as accurate as you would hope...
After watching sunset from Pico do Areeiro the evening before, we decided to take a walk to the top of Pico Ruivo to see if the view was better
A plan to bag 16 peaks during a two-week holiday, soon went south.
After a slow start to peak bagging, I jumped at the opportunity to climb a mountain on holiday in Italy. And a mountain with the promise of lunch at the top is a big win!
A last minute trip to the Lake District gave us the opportunity to check out the Fairfield Horseshoe.
A wild camp in the woods around Loch Long followed by a walk up The Cobbler on a beautifully clear day.
I kicked off the year with an 'easy' climb in the Trossachs. To make it more memorable we set up our first wild camp near the top and watched the sun setting behind Stob Binnein and Ben More.
We've tried to climb Suilven 3 times. This time we made it!
We've become obsessed with sunrise and sunset and there's no better time to be up a mountain.
Getting up at 5am is rarely something I'm happy to do. But it was worth it!
I've stopped and photographed Stob Dearg just about every time I've driven past it.
The first time we visited Scotland, a stranger in a bar told me to try climbing Stob Binnein from the south.
A quick dog walk that went a bit further than planned.
