Peaks

I’m not going to double count a peak, but last weekend we decided we just wanted to get out in the hills. So we did an 8-hour drive on Friday evening, camped at Inverlochlarig and then got up to go for a hike around Beinn Each.

We took a different route up this time, to approach the peak from the north side, because I wanted to eyeball Stùc a’ Chròin and see if we felt like bagging a Munro while we were there. We didn’t.

Having not climbed a real mountain for nearly a year, Stùc a’ Chròin looked just a bit too daunting as we made our way downhill from the Bealach, so we turned back and went to the top of Beinn Each instead.

A beautiful day in the hills either way and I’m sure we’ll get Stùc a’ Chròin soon.
